Enrollment and Re-enrollment
We currently have K-4 – 12th grade. We also have the Daycare that is associated with the school. They begin at 6 weeks and go through 4 year old. The 4 year olds can go to preschool or just daycare. In the Daycare they use the ABeka curriculum but at a slower pace.
Courses of Study
We use ABeka, Bob Jones, Positive Action for Christ, Apologia, and Glencoe curriculum.
- K4-3rd ABeka
- 4th – 5th ABeka, Bob Jones (Reading), Positive Action (Bible)
- Elementary enrichment classes: Art, Computer, Music, and Spanish
- 6th – 12th ABeka (History, Literature, 6th – 9th Science, Health), Bob Jones (Grammar, Spanish I, and II, Biology), Chemistry is by Holt, Physics is by Glencoe, Apologia (Anatomy and Physiology), Glencoe Math 6th -12th. We offer two diplomas the AISA Advanced Honors and the Standard diploma.
- Dual Enrollment: Dual Enrollment is limited to Advanced Diploma eleventh and twelfth grade students with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. A student may earn no more than two units per year in courses in which he/she has dual enrollment. Prior written approval from the administrator is required.
Accelerated Reading Program
We offer Accelerated Reading Program (AR) in 1st – 5th grade and K-5 second semester. AR encourages leisure reading. The students take placement test to determine their reading levels at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year to assess their progress. After each book a student reads they take a quiz that test for comprehension. They earn points according to scores on the quizzes and the points are redeemed at the AR store.
Full EMCA tuition scholarship available to any EMCA 11th or 12th grade student who earns a composite score of 33 or higher on the ACT.*
25% EMCA tuition scholarship available to any EMCA 11th or 12th grade student who earns a composite score of 31-32 on the ACT.*
