*Wednesday, October 16, 2019, our SGA will be hosting a Life South Blood Drive from 1:30-6:30 p.m.  Please consider being a donor.

*Thursday, October 17, 2019, will be a $1.00 dress down in pink with all proceeds going to Joy to Life.

*October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Thursday, October 17, 2019, we will have a special Breast Cancer Awareness chapel at 8:55 in the gym for all grades. In our school multiple families have been affected by this horrible disease. As a way of honoring those warriors, the cheerleaders are selling pink strips of paper for classroom chains to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Students may purchase 5 strips for $1.00 or $.25 each. This fundraiser will end on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.  All proceeds will go to benefit The Joy to Life Foundation. The elementary class and the secondary class with the most links will win a pizza party. We will present a check to Joy to Life at halftime during Thursday night’s game on October 17, 2019.

*We are in need of concession workers for the Alabama State Fair on the following date: Saturday, October 12, 2019, 2:00-6:00 p.m. Please call or text Amie Durden for more info at (205)217-0574. This can be counted for service hours.

*Please note a lunch schedule change: October 16th will be Subway and October 23rd will be wings. 

Anyone who has photos that you have taken or will take of field trips, sporting events, or any other school activities, please email them to  and your photos could be in the school yearbook!

Parents please be mindful of the speed limit on school grounds, especially in front of the daycare, as parents are unloading precious little ones there.

Monday, October 21, 2019, Parent teacher meeting: 9-12th grade parents, there will be a college representative on campus to give a short seminar on what you need to know/or expect for your child to attend college. We will be meeting in the cafeteria at 5:30p.m.

Saturday, November 2, 2019, Continental Pheasant Shoot in Hayneville, Al,  at 9:00a.m. with lunch to follow. $200 per gun contact Bryan Easley for more All proceeds benefits East Memorial Christian Academy Technology Initiative.

SAT, PSAT, ACT , and ASVAB tests: 

*The SAT test will be given during school at EMCA on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. 

*The ASVAB is for all juniors and any seniors who would like to retake this test. It will be given on Monday, November 4, 2019.  There is no fee for this test.

EMCA 2019-2020 Enrollment  

Referral discount: Current families may receive a $150 tuition credit if they refer a family that enrolls new student(s).  The discount will be applied after the newly referred student(s) has attended EMCA for one month.
