Wednesday, October 9, 2019, Dress down for $1.00-Please support your SGA! (Please remember the following: no pajamas, no athletic pants or shorts, no spaghetti straps or tank tops, no sweatpants / shorts, no jean shorts, no holey jeans, no inappropriate pictures, symbols, or language graphics, no slides or flip-flops, and please abide by dress code rules for length.)
*Friday, October 11, 2019 EMCA Walk-A-Thon: school dismisses at 1:00p.m. (No after care)
*We are in need of concession workers for the Alabama State Fair on the following dates: Saturday, October 12, and Monday, October 14. Please call or text Amie Durden for more info at (205)217-0574. This can be counted for service hours.
*Please note a lunch schedule change: October 16th will be Subway and October 23rd will be wings.
For security purposes, the front office doors will close and lock daily at 4:00p.m. If you need to pick your child up from after care, please enter through the daycare doors.
Anyone who has photos that you have taken or will take of field trips, sporting events, or any other school activities, please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and your photos could be in the school yearbook!
Parents please be mindful of the speed limit on school grounds, especially in front of the daycare, as parents are unloading precious little ones there.

Monday, October 21, 2019, Parent teacher meeting: 9-12th grade parents, there will be a college representative on campus to give a short seminar on what you need to know/or expect for your child to attend college. We will be meeting in the cafeteria at 5:30p.m.

SAT, PSAT, ACT , and ASVAB tests:
*The PSAT test will be given during school at EMCA on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
*The SAT test will be given during school at EMCA on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
*The ASVAB is for all juniors and any seniors who would like to retake this test. It will be given on Monday, November 4, 2019. There is no fee for this test.

Referral discount: Current families may receive a $150 tuition credit if they refer a family that enrolls new student(s). The discount will be applied after the newly referred student(s) has attended EMCA for one month.
