Congratulations, Track Team!

EMCA’s track team participated in AISA’s Track Meet in Selma on Monday, April 1. The following students placed in the top ten in their events:

Simone Kellom – 2nd place in the Long Jump

Palmer Easley – tied for 4th place in the High Jump

Christopher Porterfield – 5th place in the 100-Meter Dash

4×4 100 Meter Relay – placed 5th (Lamar Smith, Zechariah Jordan, Palmer Easley, Christopher Porterfield)

Palmer Easley – 8th placed in the 100-Meter Dash

Artavious Goodson – placed 7th place in the Shot Put

Emily Mason – 9th place in the Mile

Great job, Track Team! Go Wildcats!

 

4th Annual Dozen Krispy Kreme DOUGHNUT SALEextended until Monday, April 8, at noon

Our goal this year is 1550 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts and/or certificates. With everyone’s help we can make it happen. Certificates may be used to pick up a dozen doughnuts at any Krispy Kreme. Remember, sell as many dozens of doughnuts/certificates as you can, collect the money, and return the order form and money to the EMCA office on Monday, April 8, at noon. Cost is $9 per dozen; there is an order form attached.

Pickup is at Amerifirst Bank, Prattville, corner of McQueen Smith  and Hwy 14, between 6:45a.m.-7:45a.m. on Wednesday, April 10. All you do is drive up and we will load your order for you. Thank you in advance for your help and support. With everyone’s participation, I know we will achieve our goal of 1550 DOZEN DOUGHNUTS!

If you would like to purchase $50 or more in doughnuts or gift certificates, you may use your credit/debit card. You may call in, or come by the school office to make these transactions. Early Dismissal at 11:45, on Good Friday, April 19

EMCA will release school on Friday, April 19 at 11:45. Please note: the EMCA Kitchen will be closed so there will be no lunch served and no snack purchased through the lunchroom. Also, no Aftercare is available on Friday, April 19.

EMCA 2019-2020 Reenrollment

Reenrollment is in full swing! East Memorial Christian Academy’s administration and staff are already looking ahead and making plans for the next school year.  In preparation for the start of 2019-2020, please take time now to complete your child(ren)’s reenrollment for next year.  

We would like to call your attention to a referral discount:

Current families may receive a $150 tuition credit if they refer a family that enrolls new student(s).  The discount will be applied after the newly referred student(s) has attended EMCA for one month.

 

Driver Education Class 

There will be a Driver Education Class (classroom phase) on April 8, 22, and 29, from 3:15-5:30pm at EMCA. The length of the driving phase will be determined individually, according to each student’s performance and experience. It will be taught by a certified instructor, Mr. Jackie Hammock; if you have any questions, please contact him at 334-567-7281 or 334-328-9030.
