Book Donations
Dear EMCA Families,
Research has found that students who are in classrooms with well-stocked classroom libraries read more and become better readers than students who aren’t. Research also shows that students who read, do better in other school subjects. For this reason, it is my goal to build a library in my classroom and to encourage my students to read for enjoyment. Therefore, I am asking that you donate any unwanted books from your home to our classroom library, or you can shop at garage sales or used library book sales for quality books for 6th-12th graders. Thank you in advance for your help in strengthening our classroom library this year! ~Mrs. Boarts, aboarts@eastmemorial.org, EMCA Secondary English Teacher
