Calendar of upcoming events:

NOTE: EMCA follows Autauga County weather closings.

Friday (Jan 11) – Basketball – EMCA JVB, VG, VB at Chambers; JVB begin at 4pm

Friday (Jan 11) – ASPIRE Test Results (3rd – 10th grades in spring 2018)  will be sent home with students. Parents, please ask your student(s) for the results.

Monday (Jan 14) – Quarterly Parent Meeting; 3:15-5:30

Wednesday (Jan 16) – Dress-Down Day for $1; all proceeds go to SGA

Monday (Jan 28) – ZAPS Test-Prep Seminar; optional, for 10th-12th grade students, see details below

On Monday, EMCA offers the opportunity for parents to meet with teachers to discuss their child’s progress. No appointment is necessary; simply come by the office to be directed to your child’s teacher’s room, anytime between 3:15-5:30pm.  


2018-2019 Beta Club Scholarship Application

The National Beta Scholarship Program offers over $300,000 in scholarships to senior members of the Beta Club.  Seniors can apply for one of the 255 scholarships awarded annually. The application can be found by visiting The deadline to apply is January 24, 2019. Apply early!


ZAPS ACT Test-Prep Seminar at EMCA- Monday, January 28

This ZAPS test-prep seminar helps students with practice tips and strategies for taking and improving their ACT score. Typically, it will help raise their ACT scores by 1 to 4 points.  Each registered student will receive extensive practice materials as well as a full length online ACT Practice Test..  Register and pay at  or call 877-927-8378 by January 21; cost is $89.99 per student.  The seminar will take place on EMCA’s campus, on January 28, during school hours.  Registered students will be excused from classes to attend.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Lise Price at  or at 334-358-4085.
