SGA Can-A-Thon, now through January 11

Each classroom will be collecting non-perishable food items now through Thursday, January 11. All canned goods/dry goods will be taken to the Autauga Interfaith Care Center. Each homeroom class will be competing to see which class can collect the most cans/dry goods; the winners (one elementary homeroom, one secondary homeroom) will receive a pizza party. Also, each student that brings in 8 or more cans/dry goods will be awarded a free dress down day (date TBA).

Items on the “much needed” list are bottled water, and items that can be prepared with water such as oatmeal, mac-n-cheese, etc. Here are some other suggested items: pasta, rice, peanut butter, granola bars, and of course, regular canned goods. Thank you for your generosity toward families in our community who are in need.
