Calendar of upcoming events: 

NOTE: EMCA follows Autauga County weather closings.

Monday (May 14) – Summer Math and Reading Packets sent home for rising 4th -12th grade students

Tues-Wed (May 15-16) – Final Exams

Tuesday (May 15) – 6:30pm K5 Graduation and K4 Program

Wednesday (May 16) – SPECIAL TREAT! – An ice cream truck will be on EMCA’s campus and available to our students during break, about 9:40am. Items are between $1-$3 each.

Wednesday (May 16) – Last Day for Aftercare

Wednesday (May 16) – Senior-led Secondary Chapel, 12:15pm

Thursday (May 17) – Teacher Workday **NO SCHOOL**

Thursday (May 17) – Senior Graduation Rehearsal (mandatory), 10am

Friday (May 18) –  Elementary Awards Ceremony / Last Day of School (students be here at 8:00am in uniform, program will begin at 8:30am)

Friday (May 18) – Students will be dismissed after awards program **NO AFTERCARE**

Friday (May 18) – Senior Memorabilia Table setup, 1pm-3pm

Friday (May 18) – 7pm Graduation Ceremony (Seniors meet in the cafeteria at 6pm)

Monday-Friday (July 16-20) – EMCA Band Camp (includes Majorettes and Color Guard), 2pm-6pm

EMCA Office Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

MEDICINES on file

If your child has medicines on file in the office, by school policy, we are required to discard/destroy all remaining medications, whether nonprescription or prescription, which has not been taken home by close of office on Friday, May 18, at 4p.m. EMCA cannot store any medication for the following school year. Thank you for your help in this matter.

 

Summer Math and Reading Packets, rising 4th -12th grade students

We have added a Math Packet to our summer requirements. Please look for these packets to be sent home on Monday, May 14. Summer Math and Reading work is intended to be done throughout the summer, in order to keep students’ skills sharp. Summer Math and Reading work is expected to be turned in completed, on the first day of school on August 6, and will count as test grades in Math and in English. These packets will also be posted to the website.

 

Financial Year-End News

As the school year draws to a close, please be mindful that all accounts (lunch, library, tuition, fees) must be current before report cards, transcripts, or other records are released.  Also, returning student’s registration fees must be paid before your student can be enrolled for the 2018/2019 school year.

 

Service Hours

Please be mindful to record all 2nd semester service hours to your ParentsWeb account by Friday 5/11/18.

Log-in to Parents Web

Click on Family Information (left side)

Click on Service Hours tab (beside Contact Info tab)

Click on Add Service Hours

Fill in all fields (Verified By should be the faculty/staff in charge)

Press Save

Enrollment is in full swing and going well; please tell all your friends and neighbors about EMCA, the best-kept secret in Prattville.  EMCA has a rigorous academic environment in a Christian atmosphere where we shape hearts and minds for a lifetime of Christian service.  More information as well as registration forms may be accessed from www.emcawildcats.org. Current students are not automatically re-enrolled; you must reenroll by logging on to your RenWeb account, click on the  Family Information tab, then click Enrollment / Reenrollment to begin.
