May 1 – Montgomery Metro Alumni Chapter of Troy University $1000 scholarship, see Mrs. Price for an application

May 1 – Montgomery Area Military Officers Scholarship Foundation – (MAMOSF) – applicants who are dependents or grandchildren of US Military: Active Duty, National Guard, or Honorably Discharged from the US Military are encouraged to apply. For an application, see Mrs. Price.

May 3 – You are the Future Financial Plus Credit Union $1000 Scholarship

May 4 – Deadline to register for the June 9 ACT Exam

May 20 – Niche $1000 Scholarship, create an account to apply

1-       Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is the first step toward getting federal aid for college, career school, or graduate school. Get more information at

2-       ACT practice in your core classes – take it seriously!

3-      www.act.orgACT, take it often – at least three times in your Junior year, two times in your Senior year, if needed.
