Volunteers for Walk-A-Thon

Our EMCA Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet for the Walk-A-Thon has inadvertently been picked up from the office. If you have already signed up, would you please give the office a call so we can re-create the list? Thank you for your understanding! Remember, this counts toward your EMCA family service hours. If you haven’t signed up, there is still time to sign up and help is needed.

School-wide Fall Fundraiser for Wildcat Athletic Programs – Friday, October 6

-This fundraiser allows our students to learn teamwork in reaching a goal.

-Each student will ask for donations for the number of miles walked. Our goal is for every family to raise at least $100.

In order for students to participate, they will need to turn in a minimum of $20 in donations no later than October 5.

-Athletics will receive 80% of the proceeds, and 20% will go to our classrooms.

We need volunteers! If you would like to volunteer to help serve refreshments, count laps, etc., please sign up in the office or email rlambert@eastmemorial.org. Mark  your calendars, October 6, EMCA WALK-A-THON!

As always, thank you for your help and support. Coach Roger Lambert

Character Trait for September :

Resilience vs. Weakened
Recovering from adversity.

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:2-3
