Dear Parents:

I want to update you on a few things….

1) WE WILL NOT PRACTICE Friday the 10th or Saturday the 11th.
2) WE WILL NOT be playing games next week. Please see revised schedule on school website. First game is February 21st @ Springwood.
3) I am still requiring the baseball players to participate in the work day Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon. I am exempting the varsity basketball players and those are taking the ACT.

 
On Saturday February 11th we are scheduling a work day for baseball and softball fields from 8 am to 12 noon. The more we have working the faster we can get through. I could use some women to help with cleaning and organizing of our dugouts on Saturday. Listed below are the areas we need to address…….

  • Spike drag both infields
  • Ant bed treatment on both fields
  • Re-trench baseball field in preparation of laying electrical wiring for scoreboard.
  • Work on pitching mound and install new pitching rubber
  • Install new home plate
  • Install electrical box and meter base on dugout wall at baseball field
  • Repair incoming water line for sprinkler system on baseball field
  • Fill in any holes in baseball outfield due to installation of sprinkler system
  • Grade underneath dugout gates for ease of closing

Please bring shovels, wheel barrows, hammers, brooms, a trencher (can rent one if necessary), tools, etc….

I look I am looking forward to beating Hooper Friday night and practice again on Monday. Have a great week and weekend.
